  • Vision, Decision and Commit: How do we see the city in 10-20 years from now? What are the prospective smart city solutions the follower city wants to implement in future? How to engage stakeholders and keep them engaged during different phases of implementation - mapping urban stakeholders and their roles/tasks: who should be involved? Which coordination tasks can be expected and how to deal with them - using the SCGP for filling the gap

16.00 – 16.45 Interactive brainstorming session B (in 2-3 parallel groups) - moderators Judith Borsboom-van Beurden, Georgi Georgiev, Zhivka Nikolova, Dimitar Hristov

  • Plan, Do: Proposed content for the urban plan: which elements should be included? What are the prospective smart city solutions the city wants to implement in future and gap analysis current urban plans. While implementing plans, adopt solutions, how can we prevent barriers, and achieve technical, spatial and temporal coordination

  • Check, Act: How can Key Performance Indicators and tools help to evaluate alternatives and track progress. How to design for that from the beginning and use this information to make amendments to the plan; Replication and upscaling

  • Debate on follower cities’ needs and evaluation of SCGP testing results today
