On February 2, 2024, the Cluster Sofia Knowledge City launched a new initiative - Knowledge City CLUB. The club organizes meetings in an informal setting for the exchange of information, discussions and mutual acquaintance with the participation of guests whose public or business position can have a significant impact on turning knowledge into an asset for the sustainable development of the city of Sofia.

The first meeting of the club was held at the BARTER Community Hub, a pleasant place for informal meetings on the roof of the Vitosha business center.

In pursuit of the knowledge city dream at the Christmas time we wish our members, partners, and supporters a Merry Christmas, peace and prosperity in the New Year 2024.

Cluster Sofia Knowledge City

On December 5, 2023, the Cluster Sofia Knowledge City held a seminar on talents and competencies in the media and creative industries. 

At the end of the last century, creative industries became the strategic engine for growth, for creating new jobs and for strengthening the culture of societies in developed countries. The contribution of these industries to the GDP of most European countries is invariably between 2% and 5%, and their contribution to the creation of entrepreneurship in Europe is one of the most significant.
