News from GoGreen Project

Between 13th and 15th of November a team of GO GREEN executed the second study visit, this time in Bilbao, hosted by the partner Politeknika Txorierri. It was a real success and we had the opportunity to visit the school and some of their partner companies in order to better understand how VET and work-based learning are organized in their region. 

The main topic on focus was cultivating green skills of students and employees, and respectively the impact and contribution of the GO GREEN results and project as a whole.


News from Smart City Expo Barcelona

Dimitar Filipov - member of MB of Cluster Sofia Knowledge City

The Smart City Expo World Congress is traditionally held every year in the Congress Center of the city of Barcelona. This year's edition took place on November 7-9. The Cluster Sofia Knowledge City once again took part in this event. 

As in previous years, a day before the opening of the exhibition, a partner meeting of the international coalition SmartCityTech Partnership, in which our cluster has been a member since 2020, was held. The meeting took place in the office of our Catalan partner AMEC.


News from XD Media HUB

As a representative of the Sofia City of Knowledge Cluster and a member of the project team, I took part in the final transnational meeting of the project, which took place on November 16-17 in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands.

The event was hosted by the Dutch partner Inqubator Leeuwarden (INQ). The project is being developed towards the final phase of implementation to share and demonstration of results and ios sustaining and follow-up after its ending in January 2024. All partners were represented by the main project managers involved in XD Media Hub. During the meeting all main results were reviewed, action plans – revised and the goals – validated and confirmed.


Transnational Partner’s Meeting in Piraeus

The main goal of the project Green Skills for Better Employability (DEGREBE) is to develop an innovative and digital educational package for Generation Z learners and their trainers. All partners of the project  gathered on 11th – 12th of October, for the 3rd Transnational Partner’s Meeting. The event was organised and hosted by IDEC, in Piraeus, Greece.  The partnership, discussed about the finalisation of the Digital Education Package and they presented the final version of the visual novel!! Next step: to be available in all partners’ languages!! Partners discussed also the finalisation of the Guidebook for Teachers and Trainers about the use of gamification in classrooms.
