ONGOING PROJECTS
The project has a budget of 1,960 thousand euros, incl. 225 thousand euros for CSKC. The project INVESTech is aimed at supporting the creation and development of a transnational platform for cooperation of centers of professional excellence (CoVE) in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT) in five European countries: Slovakia, Greece, Bulgaria, Cyprus and Lithuania. The is foccused on responding to the changing needs of the ICT sector by fostering collaboration between different stakeholders, improving skills development, promoting environmental transition and ensuring social inclusion. Using the Quintuple Innovation Helix (Q2IH) framework, INVESTech will align CoVE with regional smart specialization strategies to support sustainable development and innovation.
GO GEEN - supporting the acquisition of Green Skills in VET through work based learning - ERASMUS +
The project has a budget of 250 thousand euros, incl. 40.8 thousand euros for the cluster. It is implemented by 6 partners from 5 European countries. The project started in September 2022 and will end in September 2024. The aim of the project is to support students in secondary and higher vocational education and training schools to develop green skills and competences during their apprenticeships in companies, following the global need for a gradual change in our attitudes and daily behavior towards the implementation of green practices.
Xperiential Digital Hub for media and creative industries (XD Media Hub) - ERASMUS+
The project has a budget of 294.5 Th. EUR, incl. 42.5 Th. EUR for the cluster. It is implemented by 7 partners from 5 European countries and will end in December 2023. It aims to increase the digital competences of entrepreneurs, managers and owners of high-tech start-up companies through project-created tools and trained mentors.
Development of Green Skills for Better Employability (DEGREBE), ERASMUS+
The project has a budget of 315.6 Th.EUR, incl. 40.2 Th. EUR for CSKC. It is implemented by 6 partners from 4 European countries and ends in 2025. The project aims to develop a digital educational package for developing innovative approaches, digital technologies and entrepreneurial skills for a green economy.
Digiskill-Retail- 2022-1-DE02-KA220-VET-000089396, ERASMUS+
The project has a budget of 250 Th. EUR, incl. 45.6 Th. EUR for CSKC. It is implemented by 4 partners from 4 European countries and ends in 2024. The project aims to establish a program and materials for diveloping digital competences for employees and trainers in the retail sector.

European Technologies for Sustainability (eT4s) - COSME
The project has a budget of 450 h. euro including EUR 62 thousand for CSKC. It is implementing by 5 partners from 5 European countries and ends in December 2022 aiming to create a strategic framework for the internationalization of European clusters through direct partnerships with leading innovation hubs in North America and ASEAN.
Smart Skills for Smarter Cities (Skills4Cities) - ERASMUS+
The project has a budget of 190 Th. EUR, incl. 32 Th. EUR for CSKC. It is implementing by 6 partners from 5 European countries and ends in January 2023 and aims to develop training tools and validate knowledge and skills for smart city professions.
MediaMotor Europe (MME) - H2020-ICT-2018-20/H2020-ICT2019-2
The project had a budget of 1 952 Th. EUR, including 248 Th. EUR for CSKC. It was implemented by 7 partners from 6 European countries and ended in April 2022. The project's goals were of discovering and supporting 60 deep-tech startups and scaleups from the media and creative industries for successful market positioning through targeted training, mentoring and carrying out direct marketing.
Strengthening the organizational-administrative capacity of CSKC - OPIK, BG16RFOP002-2.009
The project had a budget of BGN 484 Th., incl. grant of BGN 387 Th. and own financing of BGN 97 thousand. It was successfully implemented in 2018 - 2019 and was highly evaluated after monitoring in 2022 by the National Authority. The project fulfilled its objective of building the cluster's capacity, strategy and development master plan to position itself well in its target market and strengthen its internationalization.
Towards Green Transition Facility (TGTF) - COSME
The cluster received free technical assistance for its members under the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP) program. The aim of the project was to popularize the theme of "green" transformation and to provide direct support for the development, introduction and cooperation in the use of "green" business models. The project achieved its goals through dissemination, conducting thematic workshops, obtaining direct consultations for cluster members and developing a Green transition road map for the city.
