The webinar Enter the Dragon is over

On 25 March 2021, a webinar ”Enter the Dragon” held on, organized by Invest Hong Kong - the Hong Kong government agency for promoting investments in Hong Kong. The webinar was organized with the cooperation of the EU SmartCityTech cluster partnership and Cluster Sofia Knowledge City and oriented towards the members of those clusters. It was also open for all interested companies and businesses over Europe.

The representatives of over 50 companies from 10 countries took part in the webinar.

The main topic of the webinar was the introduction of Hong Kong Science and Technology Park (HKSTP) – a government-organized business incubator with more than 1,000 companies in it, 480 of which - start-ups.

What was the agenda:

• The webinar started with an introduction by Mrs. Paula Kant - Head of InvestHK - Brussels.
• Mrs. Thilde Moller Larson presented SmartCityTech partnership as a charwoman of this organization.
• The presentation of HKSTP was performed by Dr. William Cheung, Senior Manager, Business Development, HKSTP.
• Тwo European companies from HKSTP вере пресентед - the Danish company Mekoprint, presented by its General manager Mr. Søren Kold and the Spanish company INEMUR-Wepall, presented by its chief commercial officer Mr. Alfonso Ballesteros.
• The last session was Q&A with some really interesting questions asked by the attendees.
• The conclusion was performed by Mr. Winghin Chung, Head of InvestHK Berlin.

This webinar was the first one of a series of webinars, prepared by InvestHK, SmartCityTech, and Cluster Sofia Knowledge City to introduce EU companies and particularly members of the above organizations with the rich opportunities for growth in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area (GBA) cities.
