As it is written in the decision the cluster fulfilled the “Eligibility Criteria for Cluster Management Excellence Labels”.
The role of this granted to the Cluster Sofi Knowledge City label is to raise the attention of its members and partners on the high quality of work of the management of the cluster and enhance the confidence for their work. The validity of the label ends December 31st, 2023.
The evaluation report compares the organization’s individual characteristics as regarding “Cluster Management Excellence” with different peer groups:
- Cluster initiatives active in the same/similar technological/sectoral/industrial context;
- Cluster initiatives active in the same country (only if at least ten cases in the same country exist, with available data being no older than two years);
- Best-in-class cluster initiatives, which are selected based on the available data and an underlying ESCA analysis algorithm.
The report also features a set of customized recommendations for further improvement and discusses the cluster organization’s performance levels as measured by the quality indicators of the ECEI GOLD Label.
