CSKC participated in conference Clusters Meet Regions

On September 13-15, the Cluster Sofia Knowledge City had the pleasure of participating in a professional event in the city of Burgas - the "Clusters Meet Regions" conference, organized in cooperation with the European Commission. The event brought together experts, business leaders, academic representatives and political figures from different countries to discuss opportunities for sustainable development and innovation in the ICT sector.

The conference provided a platform for the exchange of ideas and practices, with a particular focus on green transformation and the circular economy.

Among the participants were Marek Przeor, Team Leader Cluster Policy at the European Commission, Dimitar Nikolov - Mayor of Burgas, Fredrik Siversen, Director of Strategy and Business Development at IKT Norge, Petko Georgiev - Chairman of ICT Cluster Burgas, Prof. Dr. Georgi Angelov - Deputy Minister of Innovation and Growth, Reneta Koleva, Deputy. - Minister of the Ministry of Environment and Water, Natalia Miteva, Deputy Minister of Education and Science, etc.

Our representative in the panel sessions on the second day of the conference was Dimitar Filipov, member of the Board. He also had the opportunity to present to the audience the profile of the cluster, its approach, strategy, goals and international activity. Of great interest to the participants was the story of the cluster's successes in international cooperation and the presentation of its ongoing projects, all in tune with the theme of green transformation and the circular economy.
