General Assembly for 2024 of the Cluster Sofia Knowledge City was held

Today, 04.11.2024, the Reporting and Election General Assembly of the Cluster Sofia Knowledge City took place. Although it is a business association created for the benefit of its members, the association is registered under the Law on non-profit legal entities and complies with the requirements of this law and its Articles of Association and Internal Rules. Representatives of 28 legal entities registered to participate in the meeting, which ensured a quorum for its holding. Dimitar Hristov - Chairman of the Management Board - was elected Chairman of the General Assembly, and Dimitar Kokalanov - cluster coordinator - was elected as minute-taker.

Following the announced agenda, the General Assembly adopted a Report on the activities of the association for the period 2023 - 01.07. 2024; Financial report of 2023 and for the 1st half of 2024 and implementation of the 2023 budget. At the proposal of the Management Board, the General Assembly also decided to terminate the membership of several organizations in accordance with Art. 15 para. 1 item 1 and Art. 15 para. 1 item 4. of the Statute and for release from office and from responsibility according to Art. 18, item 4 of the Articles of Association, all members of the Management Board and the Control Board.

The General Assembly unanimously voted new members of the governing bodies for the term 2024 - 2026:

For the Management Board

• Ivan Velkov Velkov, Chairman of the Board of the Bulgarian Facility Management Association;
• Rumen Vasilev Nikolov, Chairman of the Board of the Foundation Institute for Technologies and Development;
• Georgi Yordanov Kisiov, Partner and Director of Development at RISK Electronic OOD;
• Grigor Krastev Tsankov, Executive Director of the Eureka Foundation;
• Pavlina Valcheva Mihailova - Disheva, Chairman of the Board, Association Treatment of Covid-19 with convalescent plasma.

For the Control Board

• Sabina Hristova Aneva – Executive Director, National Academic Library and Information System Foundation;
• Georgi Angelov Ridzhalski - Manager, Business Consult Info Group;
• Evgeniy Radoev Ivanov – Chairman of the Board, Association for Regional Social and Economic Development.

The members present at the General Assembly also discussed the way of work of the new governing bodies and decided to recommend to the new Management Board, after its registration by the Registration Agency and the election of a new Chairman of the Management Board, to develop a plan and budget for the activities of the cluster for 2025 . , after which no later than m. February 2025 to convene a General Assembly and propose them for consideration and acceptance.
