In March 2019, it was open for testing and using the online platform Sofia Smart City Marketplace. The platform was developed according to the term of reference of Cluster Sofia city of knowledge within the project BG16RFOP002-2.009-0018-C01 "Creating an Organizational Capacity and Strategy for Development of Cluster Sofia Knowledge City.

It was implemented with the financial support of the Operational Programme Innovation and Competitiveness (OPIC) 2014 - 2020.

On April 16th, 2019 a stand of Cluster Sofia Knowledge City will be opened for participation in the 7th Southeast Europe Exhibition Smart Cities, which will take place in the period 16-18.04.2019 in Inter Expo Center - Sofia. At a specially organised exhibition area, the cluster will present selected achievements of some of its members under the slogan SOFIA SMART CITY MARKETPLACE.

The cluster, as a partnership between local and international companies, with a coordinated strategy to participate in the process of transforming Sofia into a smart city, aims to show the citizens of Sofia, the business and the Sofia Municipality a part of the educational, scientific and technological opportunities of its members.

Successfully was completed the participation of Cluster Sofia Knowledge City at the 7th Southeast European Smart Cities Exhibition & conference, that took place on 16-18 April 2019 at Inter Expo Center, Sofia. The cluster mobilized some of its members to present themselves to the citizens of Sofia and other exhibitors in the organized by the cluster exhibition space under the Sofia Smart City Marketplace brand.

The Cluster Sofia Knowledge City (CSKC) took part in the EU-Taiwan Cluster Matchmaking Event on 6-8 March 2019 in Lyon (France). CSKC and CASTRA were the only Bulgarian participants in this important meeting, organized by the European Cluster Collaboration Platform (ECCP).

The CSKC was represented by a member of the Advisory Board of the cluster Dimitar Filipov, whose company is an active member of the cluster organization.
